has shown a lifelong devotion to art in its various forms. Growing up along the Mississippi River in a family of painters and musicians, she has developed a love of sharing stories from her unique perspective.
In 2014, Meranda was exhibited at the Quad Cities Metropolitan Art Gallery for her first zentangle portrait. In 2017, she wrote and directed her first short film, Feathers, through the Urban Exposure Independent Film Program by Azubuike African Arts. In the same year, she and a team of nine other lightweight junior rowers set the 100,000m world record through the Y Quad Cities Rowing Team. On Memorial Day 2023, Meranda survived the Davenport Hotel building collapse where she had lived. Since the day of the collapse, acting upon her passions has revealed to be more important than ever - a year later, Aeternus Arts came to life. Aeternus is Meranda; this portfolio is meant to exhibit her ability and dedication as well as set the groundwork for her evolving career. A writer at heart, she aspires to direct her own timeless feature films that reflect the observations she has made of her colorful life.
